Celebrating 15 Years of Wingman: A Journey of Growth and Innovation
As Wingman celebrates its 15th birthday, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve embarked on since our founding on April 29th, 2009. From humble beginnings to expanding our reach to Belmar, New Jersey, our story is about perseverance, innovation, and growth.
In 2017, we announced a new chapter in our journey as we transformed a 1970s real estate building into a cutting-edge tech center. The vision was clear: to create a space reminiscent of those found in Manhattan or trendy sections of Brooklyn or California. It was an ambitious endeavor that we were determined to see through.
Reflecting on the past eight years, seeing how far we’ve come is remarkable. After leaving corporate America after the financial crisis, we set out to become the Wingman for small businesses. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, we persevered, building our reputation one client at a time.
Our move to the Jersey Shore was a pivotal moment in our journey. Despite knowing no one in the area, we dove headfirst into the community, commuting back to New York three days a week to serve our clients. It was a challenging time, but we established ourselves in the local business scene through determination and hard work.
A turning point came when we cold-called Tom Addalia, a Toms River florist, offering our services to enhance his online presence. His trust in us led to a successful partnership and
opened doors to new opportunities within the Brick Chamber and beyond. Before long, Wingman was making waves in New Jersey, thanks to the support of our clients and partners.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown from a small team working at a dining room table to a thriving business with a dedicated office space. Our move to 2677 Rt 70 Manasquan, NJ, marked the beginning of a new chapter for Wingman, aptly named the Wingman Centre.
As we celebrate 15 years of Wingman, we’re grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey – our clients, partners, and team members. We’ve overcome challenges, seized opportunities, and achieved remarkable milestones. Here’s to the next 15 years of innovation, growth, and success!
